1. Japanese Wagyu Beef FRIED RICE Bento
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
Fried rice
・6 oz (170g) Cooked rice
・Egg
・1 oz (30g) Ham slices
・1 oz (30g) Boiled fish paste (Kamaboko)
・2 tbsp Minced green onion
・1 tbsp Oil
・Salt and pepper
Steak
・2 oz (60g) Beef
・Salt and pepper
Steak sauce
・1/2 tbsp Sake
・1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
・1 tsp Sugar
・1 tsp Mirin
・1/2 tsp Rice vinegar
・1/4 tsp Grated garlic
Topping
・Shredded cabbage
・Red pickled ginger
Direction
1. Mince green onion, cut ham slices, and boiled fish paste. Prepare beaten egg.
2. Heat oil thoroughly in pan. Pour beaten egg.
3. Add cooked rice (warm one is preferred) right after adding egg. Fry imagining coating the rice with eggs.
4. Add green onion, ham, fish paste, salt and pepper. Fry thoroughly.
5. Check taste, and add more salt and pepper as needed.
6. Make steak sauce with sake, soy sauce, sugar, mirin, rice vinegar, and grated garlic.
7. Cook beef steak as you like. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper.
8. Just before the steaks are done cooking, add the sauce to pan and bring to a boil.

2. SWEET and SPICY CHICKEN Bento
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
・6 oz (170g) Cooked rice
Fried chicken
・4.5 oz (130g) Chicken
・Salt and pepper
・1/2 tbsp Sake
・1 tsp Grated ginger
・1-2 tbsp Potato starch (or Corn starch)
・Oil for deep-frying
Sweet spicy sauce
・1 tbsp Gochujang
・1/2 tbsp Sake
・1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
・1/2 tbsp Sugar
・1/2 tbsp Mirin
・1/2 tsp Rice vinegar
・1/3 tsp Grated garlic
Topping
・Shredded cabbage
・Minced green onion
・Sesame seeds
・Pickled plum
Direction
1. Cut chicken into small pieces. Season it with sake, grated ginger, salt and pepper.
2. Make sweet spicy sauce with gochujang, sake, soy sauce, sugar, mirin, rice vinegar, and grated garlic.
3. Coat chicken with potato starch.
4. Cook in oil for 3 minutes on each side.
5. Remove chicken from pan once. Remove oil also and lightly fry chicken without oil.
6. Pour sweet spicy sauce to pan. Coat chicken with sauce.
7. Sprinkle minced green onion and sesame seeds as you like.

3. MACKEREL FRY Bento
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
・6 oz (170g) Cooked rice
Mackerel fry
・3.5 oz (100g) Mackerel
・A pinch of Salt
・1 tbsp Flour
・1 tbsp Beaten egg
・1 tsp Grated ginger
・2 tbsp Panko (Bread crumbs)
・Oil for deep-frying
Fried zucchini
・1 oz (30g) Zucchini
・1/2 tsp Oil
・1/3 tsp Soy sauce
・1/3 tsp Mirin
・A pinch of Parmesan cheese
・A pinch of Garlic powder
Topping
・Shredded cabbage
・Furikake
Direction
1. Wipe the mackerel dry with paper towel. Sprinkle salt on both sides. Cut mackerel into small pieces.
2. Coat mackerel with flour, beaten egg, and panko.
3. Cook in oil for 3 minutes on each side.
4. Fry zucchini in pan. When cooked, season it with soy sauce and mirin. Add parmesan cheese and garlic powder as you like.
