1. Rice Buns Recipe
Ingredients (for 3 rice burgers)
・12.7 oz (360g) Cooked rice
・1 tbsp Potato starch (or Corn starch)
・Sesame oil
・Soy sauce
Direction
1. Mix cooked rice with potato starch well.
2. Put 2 oz (60g) of rice into stainless steel round mold. Press into molds to form rice buns. Remove from the mold, wrap in plastic wrap and let sit for a while.
3. Oil a pan, cook the rice for 2 minutes on each side. Spread a little soy sauce on the surface if desired. Lightly brown the surface.
Ready to eat!
2. Beef Rice Burger (Yakiniku Rice Burger) Recipe
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
・Rice buns
Beef stir-fry (Yakiniku) [Easy-to-make quantities: Put some of it in the buns.]
・6.3 oz (180g) Thinly sliced beef
・2.5 tbsp Soy sauce
・2 tbsp Sugar
・1.5 tsp Mirin
・1 tsp Sake
・1 tsp Rice vinegar
・1 tsp White wine
・1/2 tsp Grated ginger or Ginger paste
・1/4 tsp Grated garlic or Garlic paste
・A pinch of White pepper
・A pinch of MSG
Direction
1. Mix all of the seasonings above. Mix thinly sliced beef with the sauce. Let sit for 10 minutes.
2. Cook the beef in a pan.
Ready to eat!
3. Shrimp Katsu Rice Burger Recipe
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
・Rice buns
Shrimp katsu [Easy-to-make quantities: Put some of it in the buns.]
・5.3 oz (150g) Shrimp
・3.4 oz (110g) Hanpen (Fish cake)
・1 tbsp Potato starch (or Corn starch)
・1/2 tbsp Chicken stock powder
・A pinch of Salt and pepper
・1 Egg
・2 tbsp Flour
・Panko
・Oil for frying
Tartar sauce
・2 Boiled eggs
・3 tbsp Mayonnaise
・2 tsp Milk
・A pinch of Salt and pepper
Direction
1. [Shrimp katsu] Mash the shrimp leaving a little shrimp texture. Mash the hanpen. Mix shrimp, hanpen, potato starch, chicken stock powder, salt, and pepper. Form into a flat and round shape.
2. Mix egg with flour to make batter. Dip the shrimp katsu into the batter, and coat it with panko.
3. Fry in oil for 3-4 minutes on each side.
4. [Tartar sauce] Mash boiled eggs. Mix it with mayonnaise, milk, salt, and pepper.
Ready to eat!
4. Braised Gobo (Kinpira) Rice Burger Recipe
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
・Rice buns
Braised gobo (kinpira) [Easy-to-make quantities: Put some of it in the buns.]
・4.6 oz (130g) Gobo (Burdock)
・2 oz (60g) Carrot
・1 sheet of Thin fried tofu
Seasonings★
・2 tbsp Sake
・2 tbsp Soy sauce
・2 tbsp Sugar
・2 tbsp Mirin
・1 tbsp Sesame oil
・1/2 tsp Dashi powder (Hondashi)
・A pinch of Salt
・White sesame seeds
Direction
1. Shred gobo, carrot, and fried tofu. Stir-fry gobo and carrot with sesame oil.
2. When it gets slightly soft, add fried tofu. Put [★] seasonings.
3. Simmer until liquid is reduced. Stir occasionally. Finally add white sesame as you like.
