1. Authentic Japanese Curry Recipe
Ingredients (for 5-6 servings)
・Rice (As much as you want)
・1.25 lb (570g) Onion
・7 oz (200g) Potato
・3.2 oz (90g) Carrot
・6 oz (170g) Pork (Beef or chicken can also be used.)
・4.2 oz (120g) Sausage
・1-2 cloves of Garlic
・2 tsp Oil
・6 cubes of Japanese curry roux
・3.3 cups (800ml) Water
Topping
・Bell pepper
・Kabocha squash
・Lotus root
・Okra
Direction
1. Slice onion and sausage, and cut carrot, potato, and pork into bite-sized pieces. Cook onion and carrot in a big pot until soft.
2. Move the vegetables to the edge of the pot to make room for the meat. Add oil and garlic in the pot. Stir-fry the pork with the garlic until the pork is cooked through.
3. Pour water, and simmer for 15-20 minutes on low heat.
4. Add potato and sausage. Simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
5. Add curry roux, and dissolve well. Simmer for 10 more minutes on low heat.
6. Fry your favorite vegetables in oil to make toppings for curry. Tonkatsu (pork cutlet) is also great topping for curry.
Ready to eat!
2. Crispy Curry Bread Recipe
Ingredients (for 1-2 servings)
・2 slices of Bread
・4-6 tbsp Leftover curry [Recipe#1]
・1 Egg
・4-5 tbsp Panko (Breadcrumbs)
・Oil for frying
Direction
1. Cut the crust off your bread. Mince the bread crust. Mix the leftover curry with the bread crust to make it thick.
2. Use chopsticks or a rolling pin to roll out the bread in a thin layer. Put 2-3 tbsp of curry you made [1] on the bread.
3. Brush the edges of the bread with beaten egg and fold in half. Use a fork to press the edges of the bread together. (Even if you don’t use a fork, more beaten egg will make it easier to stick together.)
4. Coat the entire surface of the bread with beaten egg. Then coat them with panko.
5. Fry in oil until golden brown.
Ready to eat!
3. Curry Udon Recipe
Ingredients (for 2-3 servings)
・Udon noodles
・7 oz (200g) Leftover curry [Recipe#1]
・Minced green onion
Udon soup★
・3 cups (700ml) Water
・5 tbsp Soy sauce
・3 tbsp Sugar
・2 tbsp Sake
・2 tbsp Mirin
・2 tsp Dashi granules (Hondashi)
Direction
1. In a pot, combine [★], and bring it a boil.
2. Prepare another pot, and cook udon noodles in boiling water.
3. Warm leftover curry in microwave.
4. Pout udon soup in a bowl, serve udon, and put curry on top. Put minced green onion as you like. (If you can make or buy tempura, it’s going to be great topping.)
Ready to eat!
4. Curry Fried Rice Recipe
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
・12 oz (330g) Cooked rice (Cook rice with less water than usual.)
・2 Eggs
・3.2 oz (90g) Sausage
・3.2 oz (90g) Onion
・2 oz (60g) Red bell pepper
・1.4 oz (40g) Green bell pepper
・1 tbsp Butter
・2 tsp Oil
・2 tsp Curry powder
・1-2 tsp Sugar
・1/2 tsp Stock powder (Consomme)
・1/2 tsp Dashi powder (Hondashi)
・A pinch of Salt and pepper
・A pinch of MSG
Direction
1. Mince all of the ingredients.
2. Cook onion with butter. Take it out once.
3. Oil a pan, and pour beaten egg. Add rice on the egg immediately, and fry rice as if coating it with egg.
4. Add bell peppers, sausage, and cooked onion. Season it with curry powder, sugar, stock powder, dashi powder, salt, pepper, and msg. Add more salt and pepper as needed.
5. Stir-fry over high heat while removing water from rice.
Ready to eat!
5. Ground Meat Curry (Dry Curry) Recipe
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
・Rice (As much as you want)
・5.3 oz (150g) Ground pork + Ground beef
・7.8 oz (220g) Onion
・7.8 oz (220g) Tomato
・2 oz (60g) Carrot
・1 clove of Garlic
・2 tsp Oil
・2 tbsp Curry powder
・1 tbsp Miso paste
・1 tbsp Sake
・1 tbsp Sugar
・1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
・1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
・1.5 tsp Chicken stock powder
・1 tsp Butter
・1 tsp Honey
・Salt and pepper
・Half of Bay leaf
Topping
・Boiled egg
Direction
1. Mince onion, carrot, and tomato.
2. Cook onion and carrot with oil until soft.
3. Add ground meat. Put garlic, salt, and pepper on meat.
4. When meat is cooked add tomato, curry powder, miso, sake, sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Reduce to a simmer until water is absorbed.
5. Add butter and honey. Stir to combine.

6. Melted Cheese & Curry Spring Roll Recipe
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
・Spring roll wrappers
・3.5 oz (100g) Leftover ground meat curry [Recipe#5]
・Shredded cheese
・Oil for frying
Direction
1. Put curry and cheese in a spring roll skin and roll it up.
2. Fry in oil until golden brown.
