6 Mixed Rice Onigiri (Rice Balls) Recipes – Easy Japanese Mixed Rice

1. Salmon and Shiso Onigiri

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

・2.8 oz (80g) White rice
・1.5 oz (45g) Salmon
・1 sheet of Shiso (Japanese basil)
・1/2 tsp White sesame
・A pinch of Salt
・1 tsp Sake (optional)

Direction

1. Spread parchment paper on a frying pan, and bake salmon. Pour sake if you have one so that it can remove the smell.

3. Prepare a clean frying pan. Make well-cooked scrambled egg. Mix the egg and [2].

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

・2.8 oz (80g) White rice

・1 tbsp Pickled radish

1. Remove plum seed and mince it. Dice the pickled radish.

Direction

1. Dice the sweet potato, and microwave it at 500W for 5 minutes.

2. Prepare a frying pan, and pour all of seasonings (Use only salt if you want). Warm up and melt sugar. Then, add cooked sweet potato. Mix well.

3. Prepare steamed rice in a bowl. Add the sweet potato and black sesame.

4. Mix well, and make a rice ball.
