How do you describe “I had no idea〜” or “I didn’t know” in Japanese?
For example, how to say “I had no idea that there was a bus stop around here.”?

      I had no idea/I didn’t know

      知らなかった
      しらなかった
      Shiranakatta

      [Example]
I had no idea that there was a bus stop around here.
      この辺りにバス停があるのは知らなかった。
      このあたりにばすていがあるのはしらなかった。
Kono Atarini Basutei ga Arunowa Shiranakatta.

      Kono Atarini → around here
      Basutei → a bus stop
      Arunowa → there was
Shiranakatta → I had no idea
