      What is Hisashiburi in Japanese?

      Hisashiburi means “long time no see”.

      You can use “Hisashiburi” as a greeting phrase.
      Also, it’s used when explaining that the act has been a long time.
      Please see the example sentences below.

      Example 1.
      Hi Erika, It’s been a while.

      エリカ、久しぶりだね!
      えりか、ひさしぶりだね!
      Erika, Hisashiburi dane!

      Example 2.
      It’s been a while since I came here.

      ここに来るのは久しぶりです。
      ここにくるのはひさしぶりです。
      Kokoni Kuru no wa Hisashiburi desu.
