Low Calorie High Protein Shoyu Chicken Bowl and Shabu-Shabu Ramen Recipes

1. Healthy Shabu-shabu Ramen

Ingredients (2 servings)

・Ramen noodles (as much as you want)
・5 oz (140g) Thinly sliced pork
・A pinch of Salt and pepper
・1 tsp Dashi powder

Ramen soup
・1/5 cup (50ml) Hot water★
・2/4 cup (180ml) Ice water
・3-4 Ice
・1 tbsp + 1tsp Soy sauce★
・1 tbsp + 1tsp Mirin★
・1 tbsp White sesame paste★
・1/2 tbsp Sugar★
・1/2 tsp Dashi powder★
・1 tsp Miso paste★

Topping
・Drained tofu
・Shredded cucumber
・Bean sprouts
・Garlic chips
・Ra-yu (Chili oil)

Direction

1.  [Ramen soup] In a mixing bowl, combine ★. Dissolve miso paste. After cooling somewhat, place in the refrigerator.

2.  [Topping] Wrap the tofu in paper towel, place a weight on top and drain well. Boil bean sprouts and let cool. Shred cucumber. Make garlic chips with your favorite oil.

3.  [Shabu-shabu] Boil water in a slightly deep pot and add dashi powder. Add thinly sliced pork, cook quickly and remove.

4.  [Noodles] Boil ramen noodles in plenty of water and wash them in cold water after draining the water.

5.  [Dish up] Mix ramen soup in a bowl with ice and ice water. Put ramen noodles and bean sprouts. Top with cucumber, pork, drained tofu and garlic chips as desired. Salt and pepper the pork to your liking, and finally, sprinkle the entire dish with ra-yu (Chili oil).

2. Shoyu Chicken & Egg Bowl

Ingredients (2 servings)

・Rice (as much as you want)
・9 oz (260g) Chicken breast
・2-3 slices of Ginger
・1/5 cup (50ml) Sake☆
・1.5 tbsp Soy sauce☆
・1 tbsp Sugar☆
・1 tsp Potato starch
・1-2 tsp Water

・2 Eggs
・2 tsp Oil

・1.7 oz (50g) Edamame beans
・A pinch of Salt

・Shredded cabbage

Direction

1.  [Chicken in Shoyu] PreShred ginger, and put it in a frying pan with ☆. Mix well, and cook the chicken in the sauce, skin side down. When sauce comes to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn over and cook for another 10 minutes.

Remove the chicken, slice it, and return it to the pan off the heat to marinate in the juices for a while.

Remove chicken, mix potato starch dissolved in water with sauce and cook over high heat for 2 minutes. When it thickens, it is done.

2.  [Egg] Put your favorite oil in a pan, and cook hard scrambled egg. Remove the edamame beans from the pods and sprinkle lightly with salt.

3.  [Dish up] Serve rice in a bowl with shredded cabbage. Top with egg, edamame, and chicken. Finish by topping with thickened sauce.
