Instructions
Prepare Your Ingredients: Cut all vegetables and pork into bite-sized pieces.
Stir-fry Vegetables: In a large pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil and sauté the onion and carrot until softened. Push them to one side, add an additional 1/2 teaspoon of oil, then add the pork. Season the pork with a dash of salt and pepper.
Finish the Stir-fry: Once the pork changes color, add the cabbage and bean sprouts. Season the entire stir-fry with Shantung and soy sauce. Cook until just tender, then remove from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the Ramen Soup: In the same pan (don’t clean it, the leftover juices add flavor!), add all the ramen soup ingredients (water, soy sauce, Shantung, sugar, salt, and MSG). Mix well and bring to a boil. Reheat just before serving.
Cook the Noodles: In a separate pot, bring plenty of water to a rolling boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package directions. Once cooked, drain the noodles and rinse them thoroughly under cold water to remove any starch.
Assemble Your Ramen: In a serving bowl, add the sesame oil and sesame seeds. Pour in the hot ramen soup. Add the rinsed noodles, then top generously with the delicious vegetable stir-fry.
