Shirataki Noodles with Miso & Spicy Cod Roe Sauce Recipe
The main ingredient for today’s recipe is Shirataki Noodles.
It is called “noodles” in English, but it’s very healthy noodles made from konjac (konnyaku) yam actually!
There is a similar ingredient called “konjac” which is square shape made from konjac yam.
It has almost the same taste as shirataki noodles, but has more chewy texture.
Compared to the square shape konjac, shirataki noodles has more smooth texture and it could be coated with some kind of sauce (or soup) well.
Perhaps some people want to use this noodles as real noodles like ramen, pasta, or they could even use it in substitution for white rice by cutting into small pieces.
But today you will see the great appetizer for shirataki noodles using rich and tasty sauce made of spicy cod roe and miso paste!

6 oz shirataki noodles (white noodles made from konjak yam), Cut into about 6 inch
3 oz green pepper, Shredded
1 oz spicy cod roe (Karashi-Mentaiko)
1 tablespoon (sesame) oil
1 teaspoon butter
β1 tablespoon mayonnaise
β1.5 teaspoons parmesan cheese
β1/2 teaspoon miso paste
β1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
β1/2 teaspoon grated garlic
