1. Kushikatsu Bento

Ingredients (2 servings)

・Cooked rice (as much as you want)

・7 oz (140g) Pork fillet
・2 oz (60g) Onion
・Salt and pepper
・Flour
・Batter (2 tbsp Flour + 2 tbsp Beaten egg + 1 tbsp Water)
・Panko
・Oil for frying
・Tonkatsu sauce

Side dish
・2 Eggs
・A pinch of Sugar or Salt
・1/2 tsp Oil

・4 Sausage

Direction

1.  Cut pork and onion into pieces that can be easily skewered. Skewer them alternately. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the entire surface, then dust with a light dusting of flour.

2.  Cut onions into thin slices, and stir-fry with oil. When it gets soft, add water and simmer for 10 minutes.Make batter by mixing flour, beaten egg, and water. Spread batter evenly over meat and onions. Then coat them with panko.

3.  Fry in oil for 3 minutes on each side. Top with tonkatsu sauce and sesame seeds to taste.

2. Beef Pepper Rice Bento

Ingredients (2 servings)

・Cooked rice (as much as you want)

・4.2 oz (120g) Thinly sliced beef
・1-2 tbsp Grated apple☆
・1.5 tbsp Soy sauce☆
・1 tbsp Sugar☆
・1 tsp Sake☆
・1 tsp Mirin☆
・1/2 tsp Rice vinegar☆
・1/2 tsp White pepper☆
・1/3 tsp Grated garlic☆
・1/3 tsp Grated ginger☆

Topping
・Minced green onion
・Canned corn
・Black pepper
・Butter (when eating at home)

Direction

1.  Make yakiniku sauce by mixing ☆. Soak thinly sliced beef in the yakiniku sauce for 10-20 minutes.

2.  Fry the beef in a pan. When it’s cooked, place on top of rice in the bento box. Put canned corn and minced green onion. Sprinkle black pepper.

3. Dry Curry Bento

Ingredients (2 servings)

・Cooked rice (as much as you want)

Dry curry
・5 oz (140g) Ground chicken
・5 oz (140g) Cherry tomatoes (skin removed) or Canned tomatoes
・6.3 oz (180g) Onion
・1.7 oz (50g) Carrot
・1 tsp Oil
・1/2 tsp Grated garlic☆
・1.5 tbsp Curry powder☆
・1 tbsp Miso paste☆
・2 tsp Sake☆
・2 tsp Soy sauce☆
・2 tsp Sugar☆
・1 tsp Chicken stock powder☆

Broccoli salad
・3.5 oz (100g) Broccoli
・Crab sticks
・Boiled egg
・2 tsp Mayonnaise★
・1/2 tsp Soy sauce★
・A pinch of Sugar★
・Sesame seeds★

Topping
・Boiled egg

Direction

1.  [Dry curry] Mince onion and carrot. Stir-fry them with oil. When they get soft, turn off the heat once. Add the ground chicken into the pan. Add ☆. Mix well, and cook for a while.

When the chicken changes color, add tomato. Simmer down until all the water evaporates.

・Fried sausage
・Baby leaves (Lettuce)

Chicken steak and tamagoyaki rice sandwich
・3.5 oz (100g) Cooked rice
・1 sheet Nori seaweed

・3.5 oz (100g) Chicken
・A pinch of Salt and pepper
・2 tsp Potato starch
・1 tsp Oil
・2 tsp Soy sauce★
・1 tsp Sugar
・1/2 tsp Oyster sauce★
・1/2 tsp Mirin★
・1/2 tsp Sake★
・1/2 tsp Rice vinegar★
・1/3 tsp Grated garlic★

・1 Egg
・A pinch of Sugar or Salt
・1/2 tsp Oil
・Shiso leaf

Direction
