Japanese BENTO BOX Lunch Ideas #11 – Feature about Japanese Sandwiches

1. Tonkatsu Sandwich & Strawberry Chocolate Sandwich

Ingredients (for 1-2 servings)

・Your favorite bread

Tonkatsu sandwich
・3.5 oz (100g) Pork loin
・ A pinch of Salt and pepper
・1-2 tbsp Flour

Direction

1.  [Tonkatsu sandwich] Cut a slit in the fatty part of the pork. Sprinkle salt and pepper, then coat it with flour. Make batter by mixing ☆. Dip the pork in the batter and panko. Fry in oil for 3-4 minutes on each side.

・1 Boiled egg★
・1.5 tbsp Mayonnaise★
・1 tsp Yogurt★
・1/2 tsp Soy sauce★
・A pinch of Garlic powder★
・A pinch of Sugar★

Yakisoba sandwich
・5.3 oz (150g) Ramen noodles
・1 tsp Oil
・2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce◇
・1/2 tsp Chicken stock powder◇
・1/2 tsp Miso paste◇
・1/2 tsp Oyster sauce◇
・1/2 tsp Sugar◇

・Aonori (dried green seaweed)

Mini hot dog
・Sausage (Japanese wiener sausage)
・Ketchup
・Mustard

Direction

Shrimp broccoli salad sandwich
・3.5 oz (100g) Broccoli
・A pinch of Salt and pepper

・1.7 oz (50g) Shrimp
・1 tsp Oil
・1 tsp Sake★
・A pinch of Garlic powder★
・A pinch of Salt and pepper★

・1.5 tbsp Mayonnaise◇
・1 tsp Honey◇
・1 tsp Parmesan cheese◇
・A pinch of Salt and pepper◇

・1/2 Boiled egg
・1.7 oz (50g) Tomato

Direction

1.  [Egg salad sandwich] Make hard boiled egg. Mash it and mix it with ☆. Make soft boiled egg. Slice cucumber.
