1. Tuna Rolled Omelette & Kombu Onigiri Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

Onigiri (Rice balls)
・Rice (As much as you want)
・Kombu tsukudani
・Spicy cod roe
・Nori seaweed

Rolled carrot and green bean with meat
・3.5 oz (100g) Thinly sliced pork
・1.4 oz (40g) Green beans
・1 oz (30g) Carrot
・A pinch of Salt and pepper
・1-2 tsp Flour
・1 tsp Oil
Sauce★
・2 tsp Sake
・2 tsp Soy sauce
・2 tsp Mirin
・1 tsp Sugar

Tuna tamagoyaki (rolled omelette)
・2 Eggs
・1-2 tbsp Canned tuna
・1-2 tbsp Minced green onion
・1/2 tsp Sugar
・A pinch of Dashi granules (Hondashi)
・1 tsp Oil

Direction

1. [Rolled carrot and green bean with meat] Cut the green beans and shred carrots into pieces about the same width as the pork.

2. Boil green beans, and cook carrot in a pan. Season the carrot with a pinch of salt and pepper. Let them cool throughly.

3. Sprinkle salt and pepper on thinly sliced pork. Roll pork with green beans and carrots. Coat them with flour.

4. Spread oil in a pan. Cook pork close end down. When pork is cooked, add seasonings [★]. Toss with the sauce.

5. [Tuna tamagoyaki] In a mixing bowl, combine egg, tuna, green onion, sugar, and dashi granules. Make egg rolls by gradually adding egg liquid. (Please watch YouTube video to see how to shape Japanese rolled omelette.)

6. [Onigiri] Make a rice ball with a little water in the palm of your hand. Put kombu tsukudani and spicy code roe as you like. Roll in seaweed.

2. Sweet Potato Miso Soup & Grilled Mackerel Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

Sweet potato miso soup
・4.2 oz (120g) Sweet potato
・1.4 oz (40g) Green beans
・1.4 oz (40g) Sausage
・1.7 cups (400ml) Water
・2 tbsp Miso paste
・1/2 tsp Dashi granules (Hondashi)

Grilled mackerel
・7 oz (200g) Mackerel (Slightly salted mackerel)
・1 tsp Oil
・Grated daikon

Carrot and kabocha squash stir-fry
・1 oz (30g) Carrot
・2.5 oz (70g) Kabocha squash
・1 tsp Sesame oil
・1 tsp Sake
・1 tsp Soy sauce
・1 tsp Sugar
・A pinch of Salt

Natto
・1 pack of Natto
・Minced green onion

・Rice (As much as you want)
・Umeboshi (Pickled plum)

Direction

1. [Sweet potato miso soup] Cut the sweet potato, green beans, and sausage into bite-sized pieces. Simmer sweet potatoes with water and dashi granules. When it’s almost cooked, add green beans and sausage.

2. When all of the ingredients are cooked, turn off the heat. Add miso paste, and dissolve well.

3. [Grilled mackerel] Spread oil in a pan. Grill mackerel skin side down over medium heat for 4 minutes. Turn over, being careful not to let the meat fall apart. Grill it for another 4 minutes.

4. [Carrot and kabocha squash stir-fry] Shred carrot and kabocha squash. Stir-fry until soft. Season it with sake, soy sauce, and sugar.

Ready to eat!

3. Egg & Sausage Sandwich Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients (for 1-2 servings)

・Your favorite bread
・2.8 oz (80g) Cucumber
・2 oz (60g) Sausage

・3 Eggs
・2 tbsp Minced green onion
・1 tsp Sugar
・A pinch of Salt and pepper
・1 tsp Oil

・2 tsp Mayonnaise

Direction

1. Slice the cucumber and sausage. Cook the sausage in a pan.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine egg, minced green onion, sugar, salt, and pepper. Spread oil in a pan. Pour all of the egg liquid at once. Stir a little with chopsticks. When the eggs are slightly set, use a spatula to fold them in half.

3. Spread mayonnaise on your bread. Put cucumber, sausage, and egg. Place another slice of bread on top. Cut in half as you like.

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

Root vegetable miso soup
・3.2 oz (90g) Daikon
・1.7 oz (50g) Gobo
・1.4 oz (40g) Carrot
・1 sheet of Thin deep-fried tofu
・1.7 cups (400ml) Water
・2 tbsp Miso paste
・1/2 tsp Dashi granules (Hondashi)

Eggplant stir-fry
・6.3 oz (180g) Eggplant
・2.5 oz (70g) Green bell pepper

・4 oz (110g) Ground pork
・2 tsp Sesame oil
・1 tsp Grated ginger
・1/3 tsp Grated garlic
・1/2 tbsp Sake
・A pinch of Salt and pepper

・1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
・1/2 tbsp Sugar
・1 tsp Chicken stock powder
・1 tsp Miso paste

Rice (As much as you want)

Direction

1. [Root vegetable miso soup] Thinly cut root vegetables. Shred thin deep-fried tofu. Simmer them with water and dashi granules.

2. When all of the ingredients are cooked, turn off the heat. Add miso paste, and dissolve well.

3. [Eggplant stir-fry] Cut eggplant and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Stir-fry eggplant with oil. When it slight gets soft, add ground pork. Put ginger, garlic, sake, salt, and pepper on pork. Stir-fry until the meat is almost cooked.

4. Add bell pepper, soy sauce, sugar, chicken stock powder, and miso paste. Stir to combine.
