1. Beef Steak with 2 Best Japanese Sauces Recipe

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

・1 Beef steak
・Salt and pepper

Onion sauce
・2-3 tbsp Grated onion
・1 tbsp Soy sauce
・2 tsp Sake or Red wine
・1 tsp Mirin
・1/2 tsp Sugar
・1/3 tsp Garlic powder or Grated garlic
・1/4 tsp Chicken stock powder

Wasabi sauce
・1 tbsp Sake or White wine
・1 tbsp Soy sauce
・1 tbsp Mirin
・1/2 tsp Sugar
・1/2 tsp Wasabi paste

・Grated daikon
・Minced green onion


1. Grate onion. Mix it with soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, garlic powder, and chicken stock powder. Stir to combine, and microwave at 500W for 1 minute. 

2. Mix sake, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and wasabi in bowl. Stir well.

3. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of steak, and fry steak to your preferred firmness. Put 2 kinds of sauce. Eat it with grated daikon if you like.

2. Beef Cutlet with 2 Special Sauces Recipe

Ingredients (for 2-3 servings)

・7-10 oz (200-300g) Beef
・Salt and pepper
・1 tsp Grated garlic
・Bread crumbs (Panko)
・Oil for deep-frying

Mustard sauce [A]
・1 tbsp Mayonnaise
・1 tbsp Grain mustard
・1 tsp Milk
・1/2 tsp Grated garlic
・1/2 tsp Honey
・1/2 tsp Soy sauce
・1/2 tsp White pepper

Miso sauce [B]
・2 tbsp Mirin
・2 tbsp Tonkatsu sauce
・1 tbsp Miso paste


1. Cut beef into desired pieces. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Put grated garlic on surface.

2. Coat beef with flour, beaten egg, and bread crumbs.

3. Make 2 kinds of sauce by mixing [A] and [B].

4. Fry beef in oil for 3 minutes on each side. If you like rare beef, fry in oil a little shorter. If you like well done beef, fry in oil a little longer. Put 2 kinds of sauce to your liking.

3. Easy Sukiyaki Bowl Recipe

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

・2 bowls of Rice
・5.3 oz (150g) Thinly sliced beef
・4.6 oz (130g) Tofu
・3.5 oz (100g) Chinese cabbage
・1.7 oz (50g) Green onion
・1.4 oz (40g) Garland chrysanthemum (Shungiku)
・1 oz (30g) Carrot
・2 Shiitake mushrooms
・1 tsp Oil

Sukiyaki sauce [★]
・0.2 Cup (50ml) Soy sauce
・0.2 Cup (50ml) Mirin
・0.2 Cup (50ml) Water
・2 tbsp Sugar


1. Wrap tofu in paper towel and place weight on top. Let sit for 10 minutes and drain off tofu. Cut all ingredients into small pieces.

2. Mix [★] in bowl.

3. Oil pan, and put amount of beef and green onion. Stir-fry a little. Pour half amount of sukiyaki sauce. Add vegetables, tofu, and mushrooms. Simmer until Chinese cabbage and carrot get soft. Finally, add rest of sauce and beef. Dish up rice in bowl, and put all ingredients on top.
